Thank You!

Thanks to Peter Denton, my blog has been nominated for The Versatile Blogger award.

Why Do I Blog

I started blogging to clean the clutter out of my head so that I could focus on my own writing project. As my blog has progressed over the past year I’ve realized that I like to help promote other authors with their projects. Recently I started accepting books directly from authors and publishers to add to my review list. Thank you everyone for your support. I have a wonderful list of new books to review and you’ll be able to soon read about them on my blog.

The Versatile Blogger Award

The rules of this nomination are to:

  1. Thank the award-giver and link back to them in your post.
  2. Share 7 things about yourself.
  3. Pass this award along to 15 or 20.
  4. Contact your chosen bloggers to let them know about the award.

#1 The Award-Giver

Peter Denton is an active blogger from Sheffield, England who writes short stories, Flash Fiction and some scripts. Peter uses his Kindle to discover new authors; you can read about it in his post, Another Reason To Buy A Kindle. Regardless of the ereader you use, I bet you could take Peter’s suggestion and discover some amazing new stories and authors.

#2. Seven things about me:

  1. Originally from Boston although I’ve (mostly) lost my New England accent
  2. Voluntarily amputated my right leg above the knee in 2010 after suffering with severe arthritis for 20 years
  3. Pet lover – have both a dog and a cat who tolerate each other
  4. If it involves the oceans, I’m game!
  5. Favorite TV Show = M*A*S*H
  6. I left Massachusetts – with a college on every corner – to go to college in the wild woods of West Virginia; and I loved it!
  7. Big Bruce Springsteen Fan!

#3. Pass this award along to 15 or 20.

I’ve selected the blogs that I like to frequent. Please take a moment to check out these great blogs and discover something new… especially if the topic is new to you.
